The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the St. Catherine of Siena Academy Athletes (Wixom, MI) and the host Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI), observed St. Catherine of Siena Academy's basketball team knock off Lutheran North by a score of 61-51.

The Athletes (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakeland (White Lake, MI). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Lakeland prevailed over Walled Lake Central (Walled Lake, MI), 54-27, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Cabrini Monarchs (Allen Park, MI) in a Catholic C-D D challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Lutheran North will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 49-44 non-league win over Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI).
