The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Making Waves Academy Marlins (Richmond, CA) and the visiting Redwood Christian Eagles (San Lorenzo, CA), observed Making Waves Academy's basketball team overwhelm Redwood Christian by a score of 47-23.

The Marlins (12-2) will now prepare for their challenge against California School for the Deaf (Fremont, CA). The Eagles come into the Bay Counties - General challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, California School for the Deaf trounced Quarry Lane (Dublin, CA), 41-25, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Holy Names Monarchs (Oakland, CA) in a Bay Counties - General challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Redwood Christian will attempt to improve on its 11-11 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 35-34 league loss to California School for the Deaf (Fremont, CA).
