The Marion Local Flyers basketball team scored 37 points and limited the host Russia Raiders to 31 in the Flyers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Flyers now have a 18-2 record. They play next when they travel to Coldwater for a Midwest game on Thursday, February 6. Marion Local will confront a Cavaliers team coming off a 48-42 non-league win over Shawnee (Lima, OH). The Cavaliers record now stands at 7-14.

With the loss, Russia falls to 12-8 on the campaign. The Raiders host Fort Loramie (Fort Loramie, OH) to confront the Redskins in a Shelby County game on Thursday, February 6. The Redskins go into the game with a record of 18-2. Fort Loramie won 54-12 in their recent league game against Jackson Center (Jackson Center, OH)
