The Strath Haven Panthers basketball squad (Wallingford, PA), was nudged 37-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Marple Newtown Fightin' Tigers (Newtown Square, PA)
With the victory, Marple Newtown advances its record to 5-6 on the year. The Fightin' Tigers host Sacred Heart Academy (Bryn Mawr, PA) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 11. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 13-6.
The Panthers now own a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Academy Park for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 8. Strath Haven will meet a Knights squad coming off a 42-20 league win over Interboro (Prospect Park, PA). The Knights record now stands at 10-10.
