The Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) basketball were winner over the host Mary Persons Bulldogs (Forsyth, GA), 48-28 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 9-12 record. They play next when they host Twiggs County for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 6. Upson-Lee will play a Cobras team coming off a 64-25 league loss to Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA). The Cobras record now stands at 2-19.

With the loss, Mary Persons falls to 7-16 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA) to play the Patriots in a AAA Region 2 bout on Friday, February 7. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 19-5. Sandy Creek won 65-43 in their recent league bout against Troup County (LaGrange, GA)
