The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA) and the visiting Williams Yellowjackets (Williams, CA), observed Maxwell's basketball team overwhelm Williams by a score of 49-14.

The Panthers (3-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Quincy (Quincy, CA). The Trojans come into the Mid-Valley challenge with a 15-5 record. In their last challenge, Quincy trounced Portola (Portola, CA), 43-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Hamilton Braves (Hamilton City, CA) in a Mid-Valley challenge, on Friday, February 7. Williams will attempt to improve on its 0-17 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 5-18 record after their 57-32 league loss to Biggs (Biggs, CA).
