The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX) and the host Trinity Christian Lions (Lubbock, TX), observed Midland Christian's basketball team overwhelm Trinity Christian by a margin of 46-20.

The Mustangs (23-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Grace Prep (Arlington, TX). The Lions come into the TAPPS 5A District 1 challenge with a 10-12 record. In their last challenge, Grace Prep was trounced by All Saints (Fort Worth, TX), 54-34, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Grapevine Faith Christian Lions (Grapevine, TX) in a TAPPS 5A District 1 challenge, on Friday, February 7. Trinity Christian will attempt to better on its 10-20 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 9-13 record after their 39-37 league loss to Fort Worth Christian (North Richland Hills, TX).
