Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Milton Black Panthers (Milton, PA), 46-45 in a league match.

With the victory, Shamokin Area advances its record to 14-7 on the year. The Indians host Juniata (Mifflintown, PA) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Thursday, February 6. The Indians enter the match with a record of 14-6. Juniata lost 59-42 in their recent non-league match against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA)

The Black Panthers now own a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Mountain for a non-league match on Saturday, February 8.
