In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Nelson County Cardinals basketball team scored a big 65-32 win over the Thomas Nelson Generals.
The Cardinals (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Butler (Louisville, KY). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Butler smashed Doss (Louisville, KY), 55-20, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Generals battle the Central Hardin Bruins (Cecilia, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 6. Thomas Nelson will attempt to better on its 5-14 season record. The Bruins come into the contest with a 11-7 record after their 48-43 non-league win over Campbellsville (Campbellsville, KY).
