North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Halifax falls to Rocky Mount Prep

The Northwest Halifax Vikings basketball squad (Littleton, NC), was outscored 54-41 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Rocky Mount Prep Jaguars (Rocky Mount, NC)

With the victory, Rocky Mount Prep advances its record to 6-11 on the year. The Jaguars host Warren County (Warrenton, NC) to meet the Eagles in a 1A Tar Roanoke battle on Wednesday, February 5. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 10-7. Warren County won 50-34 in their recent league battle against Northampton County (Gaston, NC)

The Vikings now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southeast Halifax for a 1A Tar Roanoke battle on Wednesday, February 5. Northwest Halifax will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 73-42 league loss to North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 3-16.
