The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA) and the host Quitman County Hornets (Georgetown, GA), observed Randolph-Clay's basketball team overwhelm Quitman County by a score of 72-31.

The Red Devils (17-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mitchell County (Camilla, GA). The Eagles come into the A D2 Region 1 challenge with a 9-13 record. In their last challenge, Mitchell County trounced Miller County (Colquitt, GA), 56-30, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Stewart County Royal Knights (Lumpkin, GA) in a A D2 Region 1 challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Quitman County will attempt to improve on its 1-21 season record. The Royal Knights come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 50-42 league loss to Calhoun County (Edison, GA).
