In Tuesday's league test, the Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC) basketball squad got by the host River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), by a score of 32-28.
Next, the Lions clash with the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel test, on Friday, February 7. Southern Wake Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 10-14 record after their 32-24 league loss to Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC).
The Jaguars (3-20) will now prepare for their test against Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC). The Aviators come into the 1A Central Tar Heel test with a 2-17 record. In their last test, Ascend Leadership was nipped by American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC), 33-29, in a non-league test.
