In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Vinita Hornets basketball team scored a good 52-38 triumph over the Skiatook Bulldogs.
The Hornets (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Miami (Miami, OK). The Wardogs go into the Verdigris Valley contest with a 8-11 record.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Central Braves (Tulsa, OK) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 6. Skiatook will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record. The Braves go into the contest with a 0-15 record after their 65-11 league loss to McLain Science & Tech (Tulsa, OK).
