The WACO Warriors basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves to 25 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Warriors now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Central Lee for a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. WACO will confront a Hawks team coming off a 70-49 non-league loss to Centerville (Centerville, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, Winfield-Mt. Union falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Wolves host Cedar Valley Christian (Cedar Rapids, IA) to confront the Huskies in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 0-16. Cedar Valley Christian lost 56-6 in their recent non-league game against English Valleys (North English, IA)
