With the victory, Newcomb advances its record to 1-14 on the year. The Skyhawks travel to Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM) to face the Bears in a match on Saturday, February 8. The Bears enter the match with a record of 4-0.

The Hawks now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Navajo Prep for a non-league match on Thursday, February 6.
