Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX), 4-0 in a league outing.

The Elks (7-5) will now prepare for their outing against Seguin (Arlington, TX). The Cougars go into the 5A Region 1 District 8 outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Seguin by Joshua (Joshua, TX), 6-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Jaguars confront the Mansfield Timberview Wolves (Arlington, TX) in a 5A Region 1 District 8 outing, on Friday, February 7. Mansfield Summit will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Wolves go into the outing with a 7-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Cleburne (Cleburne, TX).
