California High School Soccer - Taft knocks off Chavez

The Taft Wildcats soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host Chavez Titans to 0 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now hold a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Wasco for a South Sequoia bout on Thursday, February 6. Taft will play a Tigers squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Delano (Delano, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-7.
With the loss, Chavez moves to 5-11 on the year. The Titans travel to Kennedy (Delano, CA) to play the Thunderbirds in a South Sequoia bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 4-12. Kennedy lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Shafter (Shafter, CA)
