The Wildcats (10-0) will now prepare for their battle against Alvarado (Alvarado, TX). The Indians enter the 4A Region 1 District 6 battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Alvarado was edged by Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Venus Bulldogs (Venus, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 6 battle, on Friday, February 7. Ferris will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 9-1 record after their 1-0 league win over Godley (Godley, TX).
