The Rockport-Fulton Pirates soccer squad scored 4 points and held the visiting Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions to 0 in the Pirates league victory on Tuesday.
The Pirates now hold a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to King for a 4A Region 4 District 29 bout on Friday, February 7. Rockport-Fulton will play a Brahmas squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to London (Corpus Christi, TX). The Brahmas record now stands at 4-9.
With the loss, Santa Gertrudis Academy moves to 0-5 on the year. The Lions travel to Jones (Beeville, TX) to play the Trojans in a 4A Region 4 District 29 bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 6-4.
