Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX), 9-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Smithson Valley moves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Rangers host Tivy (Kerrville, TX) to clash with the Antlers in a 5A Region 4 District 26 test on Friday, February 7. The Antlers come into the test with a record of 1-9.

The Thunderbirds now sport a 5-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Boerne-Champion for a non-league test on Friday, February 7. Wagner will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 3-2 league win over New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 4-6.
