In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Jeffers Jets ice hockey team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Kingsford Flivvers.
The Jets (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cheboygan (Cheboygan, MI). The Chiefs come into the non-league contest with a 1-14 record.
In their next game, the Flivvers battle the Calumet Copper Kings (Calumet, MI) in a Great Lakes contest, on Thursday, February 13. Kingsford will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record.
