In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Caroline Cavaliers basketball team scored a close 44-40 triumph over the King George Foxes.
The Cavaliers (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA). The Chargers go into the non-league contest with a 11-5 record. In their last contest, Chancellor nipped James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA), 49-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Foxes battle the Mountain View Wildcats (Stafford, VA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, February 5. King George will attempt to better on its 4-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 57-39 non-league win over Freedom (Woodbridge, VA).
