The Johnston Panthers basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Cranston East Thunderbolts to 45 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now possess a 8-9 record. They play next when they host Central for a non-league game on Monday, February 10.

With the loss, Cranston East falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to Cranston West (Cranston, RI) to play the Falcons in a non-league game on Friday, February 7. The Falcons go into the game with a record of 14-2. Cranston West lost 59-41 in their recent non-league game against Shea (Pawtucket, RI)
