The Halifax County Comets basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Martinsville Bulldogs to 27 in the Comets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Comets now have a 15-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bassett for a non-league game on Friday, February 7.
With the loss, Martinsville falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA) to confront the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 3-14.
