In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Laney Buccaneers (Wilmington, NC) in a challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Topsail will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a 10-3 record after their 46-33 non-league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC).
