In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Southern Lee Cavaliers basketball team scored a good 54-46 triumph over the Hoke County Bucks.
The Cavaliers (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Raiders go into the non-league contest with a 4-8 record.
In their next game, the Bucks battle the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a contest, on Friday, February 7. Hoke County will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record.
