The Person Rockets basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Orange Panthers to 34 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rockets now have a 11-9 record. They play next when they travel to Eastern Alamance for a game on Friday, February 7. Person will confront a Eagles team coming off a 51-36 league win over Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 10-7.
With the loss, Orange falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Panthers host Southern Alamance (Graham, NC) to confront the Patriots in a game on Friday, February 7. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 17-1. Southern Alamance won 64-50 in their recent non-league game against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC)
