In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Westmoreland Eagles basketball team scored a big 40-17 triumph over the Rappahannock Raiders.
The Eagles (13-1) will now prepare for their contest against Essex (Tappahannock, VA). The Trojans go into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record.
In their next game, the Raiders battle the Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, February 7. Rappahannock will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record.
