The Southern Wake Academy Lions basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host River Mill Jaguars to 31 in the Lions league triumph on Tuesday.

The Lions now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Chatham Charter for a game on Friday, February 7. Southern Wake Academy will play a Knights team coming off a 37-29 league win over Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC). The Knights record now stands at 5-11.

With the loss, River Mill falls to 0-14 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC) to play the Aviators in a game on Friday, February 7. The Aviators go into the game with a record of 5-4.
