The Pittsburg Pirates soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Chapel Hill Red Devils to 0 in the Pirates league victory on Tuesday.
The Pirates now hold a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sulphur Springs for a 4A Region 2 District 13 bout on Friday, February 7. Pittsburg will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-4.
With the loss, Chapel Hill moves to 4-6 on the year. The Red devils host Liberty-Eylau (Texarkana, TX) to encounter the Leopards in a 4A Region 2 District 13 bout on Friday, February 7. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Liberty-Eylau lost 10-0 in their recent league bout against North Lamar (Paris, TX)
