In Tuesday's league outing, the host Kennedale Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Ferris Yellowjackets.

The Wildcats (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Alvarado (Alvarado, TX). The Indians go into the 4A Region 1 District 6 outing with a 4-6 record. In their last outing, Alvarado was edged by Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX), 2-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Venus Bulldogs (Venus, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 6 outing, on Friday, February 7. Ferris will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 3-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Godley (Godley, TX).
