In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Jasper Bulldogs soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears.

The Bulldogs (10-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bridge City (Bridge City, TX). The Cardinals go into the 4A Region 3 District 17 outing with a 8-4 record. In their last outing, Bridge City got by Vidor (Vidor, TX), 9-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bears play the Silsbee Tigers (Silsbee, TX) in a 4A Region 3 District 17 outing, on Friday, February 7. Little Cypress-Mauriceville will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 4-7 record after their 5-0 league win over Hardin-Jefferson (Sour Lake, TX).
