In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Pearce Mustangs soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the MacArthur Cardinals.

The Mustangs (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Vikings go into the 6A Region 1 District 7 outing with a 1-5 record. In their last outing, Nimitz was edged by Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX), 2-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Irving Tigers (Irving, TX) in a 6A Region 1 District 7 outing, on Friday, February 7. MacArthur will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Tigers go into the outing with a 8-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Berkner (Richardson, TX).
