Michigan High School Basketball - Maple Valley succumbs to Concord

February 4, 2026: Vermontville, MI 49096

The Concord Yellowjackets defeated the host Maple Valley Lions basketball squad by a final score of 62-46 in Wednesday's league outing.

Next, the Yellowjackets clash with the Stockbridge Panthers (Stockbridge, MI) in a Big 8 outing, on Friday, February 6. Concord will attempt to move on its 14-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 70-42 non-league win over Addison (Addison, MI).

With the loss, Maple Valley falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Quincy (Quincy, MI) to clash with the Orioles in a Big 8 test on Friday, February 6. The Orioles come into the test with a record of 8-7. Quincy won 52-33 in their recent non-league test against Clinton (Clinton, MI)
