Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cedar Catholic Trojans (Hartington, NE) and the visiting O'Neill Eagles (O'Neill, NE), saw Cedar Catholic's basketball squad hold off O'Neill by a count of 63-59.
With the victory, Cedar Catholic upgrades its record to 17-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Homer (Homer, NE) to play the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 8. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 6-15. Homer lost 80-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Walthill (Walthill, NE)
Next up, the Eagles play the Plainview Pirates (Plainview, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. O'Neill will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 63-49 non-league loss to Creighton (Creighton, NE).
