The Livingston Lions basketball team (Livingston, TX), was nudged 51-44 in Saturday's league battle with the host Hargrave Falcons (Huffman, TX)
The Falcons now possess a 19-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamshire-Fannett for a 4A Region III District 21 battle on Tuesday, February 8. Hargrave will confront a Longhorns team coming off a 54-45 league win over Livingston (Livingston, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 21-9.
The Lions (15-8) will now prepare for their battle against Shepherd (Shepherd, TX). The Pirates come into the 4A Region III District 21 battle with a 2-28 record. In their last battle, Shepherd edged Liberty (Liberty, TX), 60-57, in a league battle.
