The Pittston Patriots topped the visiting Crestwood Comets basketball team by a final score of 40-31 in Saturday's league game.
In their next game, the Patriots face the Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 9. Pittston will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 7-12 record after their 37-36 league win over Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA).
With the defeat, Crestwood moves to 5-6 on the year.
