Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Escalante Lobos (Tierra Amarilla, NM) and the visiting Questa Wildcats (Questa, NM), saw Escalante's basketball squad wallop Questa by a tally of 71-38.

With the victory, Escalante improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Lobos host Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM) to confront the Trojans in a 2A District 5 challenge on Thursday, February 10. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 13-3.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Mora Rangers/Rangerettes (Mora, NM) in a 2A District 5 challenge, on Thursday, February 10. Questa will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record.
