The Plainview-Elgin-Millville Bulldogs (Elgin, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Spring Grove Lions (Spring Grove, MN), 72-47 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Lake City (Lake City, MN). The Tigers go into the AA Section 1 test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Lake City walloped Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN), 64-42, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they host Fillmore Central for a A Section 1 test on Tuesday, February 8. Spring Grove will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 68-27 non-league win over Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 7-15.
