New York High School Basketball - Christ the King winner over Bishop Loughlin

The Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY) basketball felled the visiting Bishop Loughlin Lions (Brooklyn, NY), 62-54 in Sunday's league test.
The Royals (18-4) will now prepare for their test against Holy Cross (Flushing, NY). The Knights go into the Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Holy Cross was beaten by St. Peter's (Staten Island, NY), 72-60, in a league test.
The Lions now own a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Molloy for a Catholic AA - Brooklyn/Queens test on Tuesday, February 7. Bishop Loughlin will encounter a Stanners squad coming off a 82-45 league loss to Christ the King (Middle Village, NY). The Stanners record now stands at 12-4.
