Massachusetts High School Basketball - Xaverian Brothers can't hold off Needham

The Needham Rockets basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Xaverian Brothers Hawks to 57 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Rockets now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milton for a Bay State - Herget contest on Tuesday, February 7. Needham will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 80-54 league loss to Walpole (Walpole, MA). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-14.
The Hawks (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Bridgewater-Raynham was nudged by Franklin (Franklin, MA), 86-56, in a non-league contest.
