The Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI) ice hockey bounced the host North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI), 5-0 in Sunday's league battle.

The Chieftains now hold a 8-5 record. They play next when they host South Kingstown for a Division 2 battle on Friday, February 10. Ponaganset will play a Rebels team coming off a 2-1 league win over Coventry (Coventry, RI). The Rebels record now stands at 8-4.

The Northmen (5-10) will now prepare for their battle against Cranston West (Cranston, RI). The Falcons come into the Division 2 battle with a 2-8 record.
