Alisal Trojans (Salinas, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Watsonville Wildcatz (Watsonville, CA), 70-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Alisal upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Seaside (Seaside, CA) to play the Spartans in a PCAL - Mission bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 11-14. Seaside won 73-66 in their recent league bout against St. Francis (Watsonville, CA)

Next up, the Wildcatz play the Stevenson Pirates (Pebble Beach, CA) in a PCAL - Mission bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Watsonville will attempt to upgrade on its 9-12 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 9-12 record after their 46-39 league win over North Monterey County (Castroville, CA).
