Michigan High School Basketball - Alma nudges Birch Run

In Monday's league outing, the Alma Panthers (Alma, MI) basketball squad edged the host Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI), by a margin of 66-62.

The Panthers (10-6) will now prepare for their outing against Freeland (Freeland, MI). The Falcons go into the Tri-Valley - Red outing with a 14-1 record. In their last outing, Freeland held off Garber (Essexville, MI), 44-32, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Frankenmuth for a Tri-Valley - Red outing on Tuesday, February 6. Birch Run will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 67-22 league win over Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 10-5.
