California High School Basketball - Anzar tipped by Kirby Prep

The Kirby Prep Griffins basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Anzar Hawks to 38 in the Griffins league triumph on Monday.

The Griffins now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pacific Collegiate for a PCAL - Santa Lucia contest on Wednesday, February 7. Kirby Prep will meet a Pumas team coming off a 71-24 league win over Ceiba College Preparatory Academy (Watsonville, CA). The Pumas record now stands at 5-6.

The Hawks (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against York (Monterey, CA). The Falcons enter the PCAL - Santa Lucia contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, York nudged Trinity Christian (Monterey, CA), 66-39, in a league game.
