Bagley Flyers (Bagley, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN), 80-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Bagley upgrades its record to 5-12 on the season. The Flyers travel to Ada-Borup/Norman County West (Ada, MN) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 15-3. Ada-Borup/Norman County West won 67-57 in their recent league bout against Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal (Twin Valley, MN)

Next up, the Bears play the Laporte Wildcats (Laporte, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Lake of the Woods will attempt to upgrade on its 0-17 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 7-23 record after their 74-44 league loss to Pine River-Backus (Pine River, MN).
