In Monday's non-league outing, the Caney Valley Trojans (Ramona, OK) basketball squad nipped the host Barnsdall Panthers (Barnsdall, OK), by a margin of 53-49.
The Trojans (11-7) will now prepare for their outing against Nowata (Nowata, OK). The Ironmen go into the non-league outing with a 8-12 record. In their last outing, Nowata got by Oklahoma Union (South Coffeyville, OK), 53-40, in a league outing.
The Panthers now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Hominy for a Northern Oklahoma outing on Tuesday, February 6. Barnsdall will encounter a Bucks squad coming off a 70-17 non-league win over Prue (Prue, OK). The Bucks record now stands at 16-4.
