The Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs basketball team scored 88 points and held the host Wabasso Rabbits to 74 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop for a A Section 2 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart will meet a Thunderbirds team coming off a 87-54 non-league loss to Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 11-9.

The Rabbits (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Minnesota Valley Lutheran (New Ulm, MN). The Chargers enter the non-league contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Minnesota Valley Lutheran ran past St. Mary's (Sleepy Eye, MN), 72-63, in a league contest.
