Burley Bobcats (Burley, ID) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Caldwell Cougars (Caldwell, ID), 56-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Burley upgrades its record to 4-14 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Canyon Ridge (Twin Falls, ID) to clash with the Riverhawks in a 4A Great Basin bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Riverhawks go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Canyon Ridge won 45-42 in their recent league bout against Wood River (Hailey, ID)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Columbia Wildcats (Nampa, ID) in a 4A Southern Idaho bout, on Thursday, February 8. Caldwell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-11 record after their 65-41 league win over Emmett (Emmett, ID).
