In their next game, the Wildcats face the Maquoketa Valley Wildcats (Delhi, IA) in a Tri-Rivers game, on Tuesday, February 6. Central City will attempt to move on its 9-11 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 16-4 record after their 60-48 league win over East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA).

With the defeat, Starmont moves to 4-17 on the year. The Stars travel to North Linn (Troy Mills, IA) to face the Lynx in a Tri-Rivers game on Tuesday, February 6. The Lynx enter the game with a record of 17-1. North Linn won 69-60 in their recent non-league game against Marquette (Bellevue, IA)
